*wavecxs: Presently, DMU trips are up to Alabang only, though the ordinary COMMEX trip goes up to Biñan.

*SecretShop:
PNR Linkage Project Phase II (Alabang - Calamba) will still be funded by the Koreans. This will involve double tracking the line from Alabang up to Calamba.
To prepare for this, the San Cristobal Bridge in Calamba has been reconstructed for double tracks already
MRT 7 - San Miguel Corporation will be the one to pursue this project.
Northail - Construction currently on-going even though the project has been subject to much controversy over the years.
Extension of the LRT Line 1 and Line 2 - For P.Noy's PPP investment program. This extension has been planned decades ago pa.

^^ Mahirap kasi i-PPP yung NR at PNR line. No investor in his right mind would pour his/her $$$ into PNR, they'll just lose their shirt.
NR= too much political heat
PNR = too many problems, especially with regards to the IS.
Re: BMPM picture, I know the guy who took that picture. I myself used to experience that massive overcrowding everyday, especially at Buendia Station.
There are EMUs from Japan Railways scheduled for delivery to the country this December 2010. Funding for these units so that it can be shipped here is being sourced from Congressmen from the Bicol Region and the DBM.
Sayang kasi, masscrap lang sa Japan pag hindi pa nadala dito, deadliest deadline na ito.

Here are some of the other pictures not posted at the BMPM website.
