    *horspawer ,

ah that explains why i still see the old blue commex trains.....so why don't they phase them out and use the CX trains instead? the speed difference between the two is worlds apart.

    Hopefully, the rehabilitation will continue.

PNR assured the public that the whole length of the ROw especially the Metro manila PNR ROw will secured with fences...( concrete or wire)

Rail transport system is very efficient, space saver (helps in
    decongesting roads), cheap, convenient.
This mode of public transportation is very modern during my
grandparents' prime. And they're back, REFURBISHED and 'Tol' is
proud to say it's MODERN. But I who finished a degree that is
within the scope of engineering marvels and construction, referring to
the PNR as MODERN (as Mike 'Tol' boasted to the media) is a shame.
Metro Manila being the main capital of our country should have a (new)
railway that is advance and state-of-the-art. Are you familiar of the
maglevs? In terms of creating new infrastructure projects, our
government is quite pathetic- tayoto- (moving backward!). IMHO
