it depends on the work permit. sa singapore, only the professionals (P1-P3 holders/family status) are allowed to petition their families to stay in singapore.

ewan ko kung ganyan din ang policy sa HK.

TRUE, like the Singaporeans, the HK people are snobbish.

They do not like people who will ruin their place.

They are allergic to the SQWAKING attitude.

Baka ganon mangyari sa Victoria Harbour

For the HK people, An Ounce of Prevention is worth a Pound of Cure.

We should apply that Wisdom here.

There are slums in HK too. Yung nga lang tago. Parang sa Binondo. But I don't think our fellow will stay in those areas. They already have the budget and I'm sure they can manage it. Yan ang hirap sa ating mga Pinoy eh. Mahilig sa crab mentality. Hayaan naman nating umangat sila. And I don't think that the HK government will allow their families to reside in HK if they are not capable. But imo, they only want to protect their stay in HK. Gaya din ng iba nating mga kababayan na nag-aabroad.

CBCP to World Youth Day ‘TNTs’: Go home

    CBCP to World Youth Day

About 1,500 catholics who went to the World Youth Day last August in Spain have gone TNT.

Before the religious event, the Spanish embassy in Manila asked the CBCP: "How many Filipinos will NOT return?", expecting a high rate of illegal emigrants. The CBCP priests made the pilgrims sign a Promise to Return, to no effect.

The affluent countries in the world know that the poor Pinoys will use whatever ways or means to leave the Philippines.

So will the Filipino family members even ask permission from the HK governemt if they could stay, or they will just make Tago-tago at the OFW's place?

If the Filipinos are not welcome in the other countries, they have no one to blame but themselves.

    CRAB MENTALITY or REALITY?
