October 15th, 2014 10:12 PM #1MANILA, Philippines—There’s another “viral” photo of a Quezon city policeman going around online—this time, it’s a positive one.
The subject of the Facebook post is Project 4 policeman, SPO1 Ariel Camiling, of the QCPD Station 8, who helped a stranded couple with their stalled vehicle along the northbound lane of Edsa last Saturday.
In the photos posted by motorist Joann Angeles Delos Santos on Oct. 11, Camiling was shown patiently tinkering with the couple’s engine.
Delos Santos narrated that Camiling and another policeman, who were aboard a nearby police mobile, approached her and her husband after the couple had spent more than two hours stuck near the Gate 4 of Camp Aguinaldo on Saturday.

March 21st, 2016 12:40 PM #9And praise for an MMDA "Elite" guy as well.
Was stopped the other Monday near home 5 minutes outside window hours. Fair enough. However, I could only produce my UK driving license, not my local one.
I was waiting for the time honoured phrase, "...but I can help you" however, all I got was a good telling off and a warning, "Next time!"
I can live happily with that. A TE who takes the time to advise a stupid foreigner (we're not required to carry a license in the UK) rather than immediately trying to hit on you for money. License is now always in my wallet!
Nice to know there are some good guys out there.
