Yun na nga nakapagtataka, the owner must have forgot to lock its doors then the crooks simply hotwired it.
I didn't ellaborate much of its details though.

Actually guys, sa mga high-traffic areas di halata magnakaw ng oto... sa dami ng nakapark, di na pinapansin kung may tumatambay sa tabi ng oto natin...

Steering wheel locks are pretty much useless coz ang dali iby-pass using a hacksaw and/or replacing the steering wheel itself.
Lessen your chances of theft by never leaving your parking ticket sa car, if possible, ibulsa mo narin yung OR/CR copy mo sa mga parking areas na prone to theft, at least matatagalan yung nagnakaw paglabas sa parking.
Don't forget what happened to PJ-XTC, sa Megamall pa yun.
