I don't think kaartehan yun. Yung hesitation probably comes from the fact na walang marunong gumawa and mag maintain ng hybrid na makina...

    agree.
fleet operators create best sellers, and best sellers attract fleet operators.

there is probably the real and perceived opinion that best seller cars generate faster return of investment, because they are priced competitively and are reliable and easy to maintain...

    personally,
i kinda like the idea of buying a very popular fleet car for my personal drive, for the same reason why they are a fleet operator's favorite.
my car is a tool, and not a symbol of estate.

"what car can you drive to banawe, and be almost guaranteed 100% that it can get repaired there in a jiffy, at competitive price?"

Sa bagay. Kung tau-tauhan lang din gagamit, baka malaspag kagad eh. Kaya stick parin talaga dun sa anong pinaka-common at basic bandang huli.

yan yung palagi kong sinasabi earlier... DOE has a list, pero ang pinaka-important is yung list ng LTO. whoever has a green plate (hybrid) gets coding exemption... yung Green plate pa is on the weird darker shade, no idea kung paano sya napapansin ng gtraffic enforcers during the night time.

ang important is uyung LTO list, as long as may Hybrid sa OR/CR ng car, its exempted

IMO... LTO should just abolish coding. wala syang silbi. only added cars to local roads!

That's right. Plus, the green is not apparent so you need to be close to notice.

    if i may,
"pati ba naman yan, palpak pa?"
how easy is it to choose and insist to the manufacturer of the plates, to use a more visible green hue?
as i recall, the previous plate design used a very nice readable and distinguishable green.

yup. those old enough will remember that private cares used to have a green plate which was noticeable at any time of the day (kahit may plate cover pa)

My car is months old and my parking is just in-front of our building lift. naka-sabay ko si neighbor and told me na ayos car ko... exempted daw ba sa coding? I told him yes, green plate yan... he said "oo nga no. ngayon ko lang napansin na green nga"

car is 3 months old na

when EVs first came out, their plates were orange. we could see it on the EV shuttles that la salle were using in between its various buildings in manila beside st scho....
i wonder why authority did not continue with the orange motif?

Hindi ko rin alam bakit inalis yan green plate. It was scientifically proven na white and green are the most visible colors for plate, same sa Orange at Red for signal lights and brake lighs.

Ang black na plate ngayon hirap na sa gabi mabasa.
