Makunat yan westlake. Makunat means matagal mapudpod, so meaning may tendency na dumulas. Ok lang siguro westlake kung pang daily lang and for stop and go traffic within the city. Pero kung gagamitin pang luwas sa probinsya, and itatakbo mo ng 100-120kph, better get bridgestone, michelin, toyo, yokos, or goodyear atleast. Opinion ko lang to, pwede kayo kumontra dahil kanya kanya naman preference yan sa tires.

UTQG ratings aren't universal. For example, both the GT SX2 and Bridgestone RE11 have 200 treadwear ratings. Anyone who's used both for track and road use knows that the SX2 lasts way longer than the RE11.

Yung 1st pair of West lake tires ko last Nov 2016 about 12,000kms na tinakbo since then 1mm pa lang binawas after measuring it with a tire depth gauge. Brand new is 10mm and 9mm pa yung 1st set ko. Size niya is 235/65/r17 SU318 pattern. Mas tahimik kesa sa Nangkang SP5 and mas long wearing.

Now bumili ako ng isang set pa and nilagay ko sa harap and my first pair nilagay ko sa likod. Nagkaroon na din sila ng price increase, dati 3.7k lang nung last na kuha ko ngayon yung 2nd pair nasa 4.1k na each. Mas cheaper pa din from the Nangkangs Sp5 at 5.2k each. Mostly city driving na stop and go lang ang driviing conditions ko.

Ok naman sir ang Westlake 235 60 r16 SPO6. Hindi naman madulas, mas makapit compared sa Turanza na OEM ng first Gen Tucson. Na itakbo ng manila to legazpi, manila to Daet, Manila to naga, manila to pagudpud & 3x times to Panay island via RoRo. Hindi ko pa na experience mag skid unlike sa Turanza at least 3x nangyari sa wet road. Many times tinakbo more than 120kph sa open road (mostly 140 pag mahaba ang walang sagabal). West lake na rin kinabit ko sa other car mostly in city use.

i am currently using 245 40 17 WL sport RS on my skyline. ok naman so far. i just cant floor the throttle abruptly because i get are wheelspins. but even the previous yokos which are even wider * 255 40 17 also get wheelspins. even on 2nd gear and 3rd gear pulls. on highway speeds, the fastest i had tried the WL sport RS was 170 and i think it was ok. chinese brands are ok, and i heard goodride is their sister company and they share tread designs and even tire model names. if so, im currently using a/t goodride tires on my daily workhorse and so far it is very reliable, never had a flat or even an air leak on these tires. im already using it for almost 2 years and tread is still thick. btw this is what i use on long drives to the province. and i trust it, i always bring my kid. but on the WL RS i am not expecting it to last that long because i intended to have a low treadwear rating tire because grip is more important than tread life for this particular car.

pansin ko lng maingay Westlake.. mine is the 205/50R17. Pero so far makapal pa after 2 yrs.. 6days a week normal drive.

Kamusta na ang Westlake mo? I bought a pair of 235/65/R17 SU318s February last year and have ran just 6tkms with it on my Santa Fe, probably around 90% city driving. I was surprised na ang laki na ng binawas. I don't have a tire depth gauge to measure though.
