August 23rd, 2010 01:13 AM #1mga ser, i understand that we strongly recommend atleast a new pair of tires should be in our cars. but due to financial constraints, i don't have the means to buy yet. ang tanong ko po is may masisira po kaya yung ilalim nun pag hinde pantay ung gulong. specificaly sa likod ko, one is 80% and the other one is like 30%(used to be my spare). been like this for over a month now.so far looks and feels fine, pero worried parin po ako kung maapektuhan ba alignment, suspension etc pag hinde pantay yung kapal ng gulong. am planning to buy next month pa. saka kng may marerecommend narin po pala kayo na specific brand of tyre that i can use. mine's a civic. any tips or advice would really be appreciated. TIA.

Are you willing to have the newer tire shaved so that it matches the older one in tread depth? That's one option.
Pero baka manghinayang ka.

August 29th, 2010 08:33 AM #4siguro nga ser Type_100 kahit yung newer tire ko will be shaved off ayos lang long as hinde makakaapekto sa parts ng kotse sa ilalim or sa alignment. i still had to buy a pair din naman pag nagkaron na ng budget. yung kapartner kc ng newer tire, naoblong dati nung pumunta kame ng bulacan.unfortunately wala na siya sa insurance ng goodyear kaya ayun.asa compartment ko parin siya in cases of emergency.
