November 18th, 2015 09:54 PM #1Mga sirs bibigat ba ng sobra ang steering ko kapag nagpalit ako ng mags ang tires from 14" mags w/ 185r14 to 235/70/15 tires? Btw hindi power steering. Thanks.

Depends on the wheel offset that changes your scrub radius.

November 18th, 2015 10:41 PM #5Iniisip ko kasi since tataas un height ng wheels and tires e dadali ang pagkabig pero un nga un lapat ng gulong sa sahig mas malapad kasi kakapal ang gulong. Magiging malaki ba ang difference na dagdag effort sa pag steer

November 18th, 2015 11:09 PM #6I think napaka liit lang naman ang effect sa manibila. Pero dahil hindi design sa ganung bigat ang steering posible na ma stress ang metal.. posible ma mas madaling masira than using orignal size.

Notice the intersection between the tire center of plane of rotation and the imaginary line between the ball joint and the strut mount (steering axis inclination), they intersect either above ground, on ground or below ground. This affects steering effort, steering stability and life span of steering/suspension components
