April 26th, 2007 11:52 AM #2hi guys.. Just went to Banawe lng and asked for the price of KYB shocks.. They gave me a price of 1,050 each for the front and rear for my crosswind XTo. Meron ba mga fake na KYB d2? kasi parang nakakaduda sa price nya e. How do i determine if fake ba or orig yan?

may nakita akong KYB gas for 1200 each for our van. bibili na kasi ako ng shocks bukas... hope this is not fake.
peru bakit ang laki ng price ranges from 1k to 4k each KYB gas... so mas mahal pa yung Sedan kaysa SUV's and 4X4?

May 10th, 2007 09:54 AM #5guys, ma-rerecommend niyo ba kung surplus na shock absorbers lang? cheap price (450 lang each) for a tight budget. do you guys think that it will last that long?

the gas shock for 1200 each that I bought yesterday feels good enough. baka genuine nga ito, hopefuly... I asked why it's cheap... the store guy says the sedan shocks are more expensive. the KYB for sedan is 3k.
so, a KYB hydraulic for SUV,AUV pickup that costs around 700 could be genuine. baka you can still stretch your budget.
wag lang young Monroe, we bought a Monroe for 650 each just a few months ago. the shock doesn't perform well and just over a month of use, nag-leak na yung shocks...

Bro, tama si happy_gilmore. Magparefill ka nalang sa Cruven, kung super-tight ang budget then Isang set lang (left and right shocks) piliin mo na lang kung sa harap o likod (which yung mas sira).

700 yung convert/refill then 100ea for labor. the nice thing is adjustable pa yung psi ng shocks mo-- they initially pump 50psi in and then you can have them adjust it to smoothen the ride. 6mos po yung warranty.
I had mine converted at their Cubao shop and I'm very happy with the result but it's a little bt stiff so i'll probably go back to the shop in a week's time.
Sulit talaga. Saved me almost 8k for shock replacements and other under chassis repair.
Nakasabay ko sa shop yung isang repeat customer-- he had his shocks converted 2yrs ago and ok pa daw.
