November 19th, 2015 02:58 PM #4Sir, the squeaking could also be due to worn out bushings.
As to the ride height concern, your springs may have been compressed already. The solution is to change the springs or to put in coil spring rubber spacers/lifters to increase the height. The bump stop solution may only apply if your vehicle is bottoming out every time you go over a hump or pothole. The shock absorber does not lift the car. It only prevents the car from bouncing too much.

November 21st, 2015 11:00 PM #6The camber & wheel alignment should not change even if you increase the rim size/tires since the angle of the control arms would not have changed. It's best to have all the wheels balanced even if the wheels at the rear don't pivot.

(front and rear).
regarding sa pag down size mo ng mags from 17s to 15s, tingin ko kailangang magpa wheel alignment. nung nagpalit kasi ako ng from 15s to 17s, nag positive camber siya (outer part ng gulong yung mas mauunang mapupudpud), pina correct ko na lang.

You have to align your wheels whenever you replace them and also every 20k kms after having them rotated as maintenance. I always do have all of my wheels balanced.

from what i have observed, the aligners attach their machines to the metal rim or alloy mag, not to the rubber tire.
they align the rims, not the tires. the tires are just there for the ride.
but... there is also that regular recommendation to have alignment checked every xxxx km..
so, i suppose nagkaka-taon lang, na nag-sasabay ang alignment check sa tire change..?
wheel balancing... that's a given every time the tire is replaced.
