October 19th, 2009 01:38 PM #1Just had my tires rotated at a car place along Libis and I had the tires from the back balanced before they put them up front. I was watching them when they did the balancing and I'm pretty sure they didn't use a lot of weights to balance the two tires.
I was surprised when they were charging me 200 pesos for wheel weights. I tried to ask for a discount on the weights charge but they didn't budge.
Is that really the going rate for tire weights now? Was I ripped off or was I charged fairly?
The unbalanced readings for one tire were 35-30 and the other was 15-10.
I hope someone can shed some light on this. Thanks!
