Flapping Sound * 800rpm

Mga sirs

Patulong lang. Nagkaroon kasi ng flapping sound yung sasakyan pag naka idle sia or naka brake. Whenever nasa 800 rpm sia. Yung source nung sound nasa right front side. Parang ito yung naririnig ko sa mga taxi dati.

Nagstart sia around 30 mins after pagstart nung car.
So pag traffic and di ako nag gagas and hindi nagbibigay ng gas yung car (A/T)

So pag normal driving wherein nagstep ako sa gas ako ok naman sia.

Car model: toyota avanza
Transmission: AT

sounds like valve lifters. with a stethoscope, try to locate within two inches where the sound is more pronounced.

yup. sounds like valve chatter.
when was the last time it had valve lash adjustment, sir? it's sometimes part of major tune-up procedure, and not really difficult to do. any good mechanic can do it.

btw... first time i heard a good sound byte here. nice!
