What aspects of the Forester did you like over the Sta. Fe?

I'm currently thinking of getting either a Subaru Forester XT or a Santa Fe CRDi. I've found a lot of information and user feedback on the Santa Fe but can't seem to find much on the Forester.

Test drove both and I prefer the Subaru .

Are there Subaru owners out there who'd like to share their experiences with their rides?

    Thanks all.

It was worth it. Back when we were deciding on our CUV choices, we told ourselves that since we were going to spend a big amount, we might as well get the one that fits our individual requirements. My wife wants space and comfort while I prefer a sporty ride and good handling. The big discounts on the Forester last June sealed our choice.

I drive around 40-50 km daily and I alternate my XT with my Fiesta Ecoboost. The XT is quicker and faster than the Fiesta however the Fiesta drives better. Both have stiff rides but offers great handling and lots of grip.

    Good day!

We just got XT (pre-lifted 2016) with Php. 300K discount last June. We were lucky to get this car (last two units). Previously we had Sta. Fe 2008 model (A/T 4x2).

XT is more powerful (241HP compare with 200HP new model). XT is AWD while Sta. Fe is only 4x2. Sta. Fe 4x4 model is much expensive (Php. 2.2M). Ride is almost the same. Accessories are almost the same. Sta. Fe has little bit bigger space (7 seater while XT is only 5 seater). Sta. Fe has better fuel consumption than XT (diesel vs. gasoline).

If you really concern about the cost of fuel, then Sta. Fe is better option. But you like power, XT is better choice. Since we had Sta. Fe before, we wanted to try XT and got it cheap (Php. 1.5M).

We love the option of Intelligent mode, Sport mode and Super Sport. It is like driving a real sport car.

    Cheers

Correct ka Bro. It is very tempting to go faster especially naka Super Sport mode. 8 manual speed which is very aggresive. Naka try ako once when I traveled in SLEX early morning Sunday. Ang sarap mag drive ganun speed na I felt very safe. The grip and also control is very much anticipated.

Sana naka ulit ako using Super Sport one of these days Grabe traffic sa SLEX.

    Cheers
