    Are you telling us there is also a rubber band effect upon acceleration, never felt that on the turbo model. Maybe it depends on the individual, i dont have a heavy foot when accelerating from standstill, i drive like a granny

    Because the turbo has enough torque even at a standstill to get the car going. I've driven the turbo and non-turbo versions and they're worlds apart in terms of performance. 90 hp is big.

    Also, of course you won't feel any lag if you don't drive it hard. For tame city driving, a CVT feels the same as a conventional auto or even a DCT. It's with a wide open throttle that you see the differences.

    is it the ABS im experiencing when i suddenly press the break pedal and steer abrubtly at the same time? i can feel it on the break pedal vibrating or pulsating. noticed it twice already. during the time when di mo napansin na may road hump pala and tried to break abruptly and and steer away sa hump. na experience nyo na ba ito?

    Yup. Not unique to the Forester, any car with ABS will have that pulsating feel during hard emergency braking.

    ask ko na din since tag ulan ngayon, pano nyo nililinis ang windshield nyo?
    pansin ko kasi parang natalbog and wipers ko. nag re search ako sa internet how
    to proplerly clean windshield. napabili tuloy ako ng rainX. pero lalo sya tumalbog.
