You need to bring your own oil bec. their oil is really expensive (Castrol, Motul) and unsuitable spec (5W-20-with our weather ?!??)
Also watch out for items they silently insert like oil flushing.

September 5th, 2012 06:56 PM #1173Guys, looking forward in getting the legacy wagon, pero motorimage is only selling 2011 units with 180,000 discount, kasi they are coming out of the 2013 model.
Is the 2011 worth it? Or wait for 2013 model with the FB engine and hopefully the eyesight feature as standart? I think wala ng turbo model for the 2013 models. Thanks

Looks like it'll be in 2014, at least according to Car & Driver's website: 2014 Subaru Forester Spy Photos – News – Car and Driver
I'm guessing that the front will take on the family look that's now common with the Legacy and Impreza. Fearless forecast: by mid-2013 or earlier, the disguise will come off and more leaked photos will flood the net.

MI is offering good discounts on the Forester (50K or higher). Maybe the new Forester isn't that too far along?

They facelifted it with very subtle exterior changes, relaid out the dash, improved the HU but downgraded the sound system, intro'd it in 2012 and called it "all-new," even referring to it as the 2013 model. In reality this 3rd gen iteration has been around since 2008. Probably not selling very well anymore in major markets abroad considering how its competitors have been rolling out newer versions decked out with more bells and whistles than the current Fozzie. Maybe that's why a real "all-new" model is in the works.

Happy to get my new "soon-to-be-old-model" Subaru Forester 2.0XS
First impressions - I love driving it! I like the optitron gauges, the huge moonroof, the overall feel. I'm glad that it's got a hand brake rather than a foot brake.
Only con - the sound system is no good
