I ended up buying a BR9. Deym!!! The handling is... %#*&*^ wow!!! Not to mention the grin that i can't hide when that bastard-of-a-snail starts spooling, ohhh man!!! And that's on i-mode. S-mode is much better. S#-mode turns that grin into evil delight. I could care less about FC atm, it's out of the equation for now. But to those interested, it's not less than 6kpl, but not more than 7kpl. It seems to be the same for city and highway because of the tendency to drive more briskly (sometimes brusquely) on open roads.

I've done almost a thousand kms in 6 days with 150 liters or so. Planning to do another 600 in the next 3 days and bring her in for the first PMS and officially end the "break-in" period.

i'm sure you're having fun with the explorer, albeit at lower g-forces due to its sheer size

was at the NLEX/SCTEX yesterday, and i can just imagine what those cars running at 180kph were thinking each time i take them out so hard... "watdapakwasdat?!" and i'd just be merrily shouting inside my wagon "it's a fookin subie dude, scooby-dooby-dooooo!!!".

i've had it for a week, and i haven't even taken interest on its other accessories... all i wanna do is drive the sonnuvagun!

Welcome to the club, dude. That's the thing about the FXT. Just when you decide to use cruise control, some entity whispers in your ear, "Floor it!", and you give in to temptation. Just last Sunday, I was on the SLEX cruising at 100, when a Sta Fe tailgates, a practice I find very irritating. I move past 120, 140, 160 and he's still there. I move aside, thinking he's in a hurry and he still sticks to my rear. So I floor the gas, the turbo kicks in and before I know it, I'm hitting 200 and the Sta Fe becomes the size of a Matchbox in my rear view mirror. Yup, it's a blast to drive this SUV.

he got an lgt not an fxt. anyway i know what you mean, the fxt is truly a monster suv that no other asian suv can beat in terms of raw power and performance. only european suv's will beat the fxt when it comes to performance.

btw dindop is your lgt a wagon or sedan?

foresterx, it's a wagon in galaxy blue one reason i went for the LGT is the selector: I, S, and S#... with the FXT, parang halimaw-mode lagi, walang tipid-mode hihihihi...

A friend of mine told me that the experience is more like of a demon who possess you the moment you step on the accelerator, from there, it will totally control your soul...
