Subaru Forester

afaik the new Forester will have a different grill and side-mirror integrated indicators. at least, that's what I saw in the gobal subaru site. anyway the variant to have is the s-edition. 261 bhp, a better interior, and (finally!) a 5-speed automatic. :drool:

will the s-edition arrive in the philippines? also the s-edition doesn't have the new features since they only made an s-edition for the 09 forester.

hahaha. here's to hoping it does. It should do relatively well here.

About the features, if you go Subaru Global, there's a link for the 2011 Forester lineup. Doon ko nakita yung s-edition. Actually I didn't know na may S-edition pala until I checked out the site to see the differences between the '09 and the '11 Forester. Also, the Aussie reviews of the S-edition all came out in 2011. I think it's a 2011 model, not a 2009 model. So it should have the 2011 Fozzie bits, and then some.

yup you're correct, the s-edition is 2011 forester. it came out in 09 as a concept lang but australia is the only market that will get the s-edition.

I think Ukraine will also get the S-edition. I was browsing youtube and found a Ukranian ad for the S-edition. So maybe there is hope! hahaha joke. false hope.

china will get it to apparently, i hope we at least get some. i remember we got a couple of forester sti's back in 07 for the sg body forester.

Saw the fxt '11 at m.i. Kanina. There's a new color...Orange. What's also new are the signal light on the side mirrors, speedometer, radio (bluetooth), added phone options na rin sa steering wheel. digital a/c na rin. Pero same engine lang daw. Hay... A month late! Kainis. Bitter ocampo ako. Haha
