August 19th, 2017 04:02 PM #3It looks like it. I was under the impression that it also got removed but I guess we'll see for ourselves on September 8.
Unfortunately, Eyesight is still not an option. It's one feature suite that's also a deal breaker for me but I guess I just have to accept the fact that we really are behind technologyEven with Honda, Honda Sensing is only available on the new TOTL CRV and Pilot.

August 19th, 2017 04:11 PM #4It's not a dealbreaker for me but I would still love to see it available since most reviews seems to say it works pretty well.
I understand how Honda sensing is only available on the TOTL CRV so they can stay competitive on their other trims, at least it's still an option. Bakit si Subaru ayaw man lang talaga i-offer kahit option hehe
Let's see sa September, I'm definitely checking it out since it's on top of my very shortlist...

September 9th, 2017 12:36 AM #5Sabi din sakin kanina ng SA na mga half-day lang daw nung inannounce yung 200K na discount on the previous gen TOTL, ubos kaagad ang stocks, lol!
Yes, I did. I only concentrated on the TOTL variant as that's the one I'm eyeing to buy. I can confirm that the TOTL has an electronic parking brake, nakalimutan ko lang picturan yung front part ng car with all the buttons, haha. Pero check the pics that I'll be posting below for you reference. EDIT: Based on the PDF I've referenced below, it looks like both variants have electronic parking brake.
Akali ko din ngayon yung unang launch e. Kahapon daw pala, mainly for media. Tapos ngayon, for VIP. Tapos hanggang Sunday ata may parang "daily launch". I asked for a test drive and I'm surprised na pwede daw as early as this coming Sunday! Sabi ko hindi ako pwede ng Sunday so baka next weekend na lang.
I'm also very close to being sold by the 2018 XVNakakainis lang talaga na medyo mababa headroom and maliit cargo space pero I think I can manage. Ang dami naman niyang new techs e
Anyway, I'm not a photo guy but here are the pics I took:

Sorry, I know medyo lame yung mga kuha ko. I really don't take pictures, haha. Medyo natangahan lang din ako bakit hindi ko kinuhanan ng pic yung cockpit. Anyway, basta maganda!

September 9th, 2017 12:46 AM #8LOL I'm actually very interested in the Levorg and the VW GLS, pero I like the higher ground clearance and newer toys/platform of the XV...
Photos looks great :D
Oo una sa napansin ko rin kanina sa 2017 XV is yun low headroom kahit sa front, pansin ko kitang kita ko yun sun shade while looking out front pero when I adjusted the seat height okay naman actually d naman ganun kasikip pala... legroom is massive for such a small vehicle hehe
I am also eyeing the TOTL, I think the extra cost is worth it.... btw, para saan yang nag-iisang camera sa gitna?
Ohh does it mean nakadisplay lang ang new XV sa high street until Sunday?

September 9th, 2017 12:58 AM #9That's good to know
I don't have any complaints with the legroom too.
I agree, the difference in price is totally worth it. The camera in front is for High Beam Assist.
My only gripe is that there is still no EyeSight. I asked one of their SA's why that is the case and he said that it's not applicable daw kasi in our country. I then countered him as to why Honda has Honda Sensing for their higher tier cars plus the new TOTL CRV. Sabi niya magkaiba daw kasi yung features ng EyeSight and Sensing. Sabi ko NO, they're more or less the same. Ayun tumahimik na lang siya, magpapalusot pa kasi e, haha.
Regarding the XV display, that I can't vouch for. But I can message my SA tomorrow and report back if you like
