Im planning to purchase my first pistol. My budget is around 30k-40k, exclusive of license and ptc fees. right now im leaning towards taurus pistols. can you please recommend your favorite gun shop as well as recommend any other brands/models that are within my budget. thanks.

moxxie, wag ka muna bumili... antayin mo na yung gun show sa july, sayang lang din yung discount na makukuha mo, tapos baka may mag labasan pa na mga bago na models...

pero anyway ang mga taurus okay naman yan... was supposed to get karen th 909 series in titanium, 40 cal siya, pero umatras si karen dahil biuglang natakot for whatever reason.... hehehehe tama na daw yung sig ko pero bibili parin ako ng shotty baka by november...

bsata kunin mo is 40cal na, best of both worlds na yun, mura ang bala kaysa 45, may stopping power ka na tapos madami na din ang mailalagay mo sa clip as compared to a 45.

buti pumayag na kumander mo na kumuha ka? diba ayaw niya dati?

^I'm also on the look out for my 1st pistol as well. I got a suggestion for a 9mm na CZ shadow. Since I'm a newbie at this, I can't tell how good it is. All I know, its already pricey.

Glock sana...pero Mahal din ata. I want to get something na pwede din gamitin sa shooting range for practice.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

due to the recent crime wave in metro manila as well as recent violent deaths of two of our lawyer friends. protection na rin dito sa bahay just in case.

hehe kaso July daw.. siguro sama ako sa inyo. hehe.. makiki USI lang.. may mga tag 20k lang kaya? Not really a gun fan pero added protection to you and loved ones lalo na ngayon.
