mga ka MB tanong ko lang po saan po ba originaly gawa ang makina ng ssangyong engine na nakabit sa ssangyong MB100 at yung saan din naman po gawa ang makina ng local CMC na MB100 germany po ba made yoon? TIA....

Good Day mga Ka Mb sino sa inyo nagpalit na ng secondary ng clutch anong brand po ba at size ng goma nito. Mahirap po kasi magbaklas tapos wala pong available na goma or piston. Salamat ng marami. atsaka isa pa pala bakit medyo mausok na white at masama ang amoy ng smoke ng MB lalo na kapag bagong start may kinalaman po kaya ang mga nozzle baka hindi pare-parehas ang p.s.i. nya. Kung sa gasolina parang unburn fuel hindi kasi ako ganun ka familiar sa diesel. Advise naman dyan sir jonlandayan.

The Mercedes OM602 engine is a 5-cylinder diesel engine of 2497cc or 2874cc. The 2874 cc (2.9 L) was used in the 310D and 410D Mercedes-Benz_T1 and the Phase 1 Mercedes Sprinter vans (where it was modified for direct injection), the Ssangyong Musso and Korando range and even in the 1996–1999 models of the E-class. It was available in either naturally aspirated or turbocharged variants with two valves per cylinder.
The camshafts and injection pump are driven by duplex chain from the crankshaft. A separate single-row chain drives the oil pump. The camshaft operated the valves via hydraulic bucket tappets; valve clearance adjustment is automatic.
On many OM602 engines fuel injection is indirect. A Bosch PES in-line injection pump is used, with a mechanical governor and vacuum-operated stop control. The pump is lubricated by a connection to the engine oil circulation and the fuel lift pump is mounted on the side of the injection pump.
Some later versions of the 2.9 L capacity unit use a Bosch VE-style rotary distributor injection pump with electronic control and have a significantly different combustion chamber as they use direct injection.
Preheating is by glow plugs with automatic control of preheating time.

July 5th, 2012 10:15 PM #2714sir leoreynoso,nagpalit nako dati ng secondary clutch assy repair kit. madali lang magbaklas sir, morethan 1year na ngayon ok parin, yung ginamit ko pang mazda yung double yung goma nya mas maganda kasi yun,yung sa mb natin single lang dalin nyo narin yung sample nyo kahit ibang brand meron pang mazda lang kasi yung nakita ko na double yung goma kaya yun ang kinuha ko sir kahit saan lang autoshop lang meron,sir tip lang bago nyo kabit lihain nyo muna ng pino 1k na liha yung pinaka housing nya sa loob kasi baka may guhit na tulad nung sakin nun para magtagal, mura lang yung pang mazda sir 100 plus lang yata o wala man ako nga dalawa na binili ko mahirap maputukan sa daan eh,ganyan din yung sakin sir pagbago start may usok pero pagmainit na wala na,pwede rin sa nozzle tip sir pero subukan nyo patiming or adjust yung injection pump ng mb nyo minsan dahil din dun eh...

pero kapapalit ko lang ng nozzle tips eh bale 5pcs. bago palit lahat. duda ko inside the engine na problem eh. pinagtataka ko lang hindi pa naman nakain ng langis ito MB ko. minsan galing ako byahe from manila then nung nasa sto. tomas batangas na ako may nakinig ako pinging sound from the engine (lagatak pero mahina) then i turn off the air con tapos ni rev ko engine ng dahan dahan ayun bigla nawala. up to now wla naman ako napapansin or nararamdaman sa engine ko. ok pa nman bumatak actually tumipid pa nga consume ko ng diesel except na malagatak ang tunog nya ngayon unlike dun sa dati ko nozzle na nakakabit. btw, mga sir may nabasa ako sa dyaryo the other day, if im not mistaken mam grace tan of apic was shot dead by her own brother. wala nman iba grace tan sa kabignayan st. in banawe kundi si mam grace ng apic. how sad nman kung totoo nga yung nabasa ko

Alam ko made in Germany ang makina ng MB/Istana e. Mga 5 cylinder engines kasi Europe lang gumagawa nun e, tulad ng Volvo ganun din. Yung oil filter ng MB di ba yung element lang binibili natin? ganun daw talaga mga Benz may housing ang filter...ewan ko lang sa mga bagong modelo. Yung MB100 alam ko joint venture yan ng Benz at Ssangyong para ilabas para Asia at Australian markets. YUng Benz naman hindi talaga gumagawa ng van tulad ng Vito, made in Spain naman yun.

kung di ako nagkakamali e 3/4 ang laki ng wheel cap,pang L300 pwede jan at toyota corona o pajero.may tukod na lifter o valve tappet,yung usok e langis yan na naiwan sa piston pagka off ng engine,maaring isa o higit pa na valve seal ay may konting tagas,pag maiinit nawawala na kasi nageexpand na yung goma ng valve seal at nasusunog na yung langis kaya kulay puti ang usok.hindi delikado yan,tatagal pa,alagaan lang sa change oil.

yung early model o yung unang istana which is 1995 ayon sa tatak nung seatbelt na nagkaroon ako, e orig na germany pa yung engine galing sa mb100 na germany(SPAIN) bago iphase out.kasi yung block nya may mercedes benz na naka imbose.yung mga later model 96 pataas e korea na although some parts are germany pa din naman,part number na ang naka imbose sa block,which means reproduction na lang under licence po.cmc korea na po yan.
