he did study in loyola heights but i'm told he attended college in dlsu.

the funny thing is he's not popular at the blue eagle's nest. a lot of the guys over there perceive him to be biased against ateneo

mukhang malapit na makamit iyong pinakamimithing twice to beat advantage ng ateneo

^ oo nga. mali pala ang calculations ko

so with the win yesterday, they're the no.1 seed, that is, if nothing comes out of the ridiculous ust protest (w/c was initiated by the tigers management immediately after the game)

Even Coach Pido was against the protest... now that's class. It was really a goal tending call if you ask me.

You gotta love the Kiefer dunk against Abdul.

yes, that was clearly a goal tending. got to give it to pido. when the refs confirmed it was a goal tending, he never lost his composure and egged on his boys, "okay lang, okay lang"

Bow ako riyan kay Coach Pido Jarencio... Kahit sa mga previous games,- ganyan ang attitude at disposition niya....

Meron pala? Malabo na yan, good game yun IMO. Sa kanilang side din marami dapat tinawag na foul pero wala din pumito. Kwits lang yan. :D

The non call of the fouls were there but what really miffed Norman Black was the non call on a travelling infraction after the ball was stolen from Buenafe.

The best combo for a thriller championship series would be Ateneo vs. UST it seems. UST has what it takes to beat Ateneo given they've climbed back from 19pts in the first round encounter and 13pts in the game last Saturday. Namuti sa nerbyos si Norman Black sa game na yan. :D Or course, who cannot ever forget what UST did to Ateneo back in 2006.

On another note, FEU has just been playing downright dirty ball against DLSU and ADMU it seems.

FEU has what it takes to make a game vs AdMU. Pero yung 2nd round game nila for me is close because of Pido's attitude and the confidence of UST in their Rnd 1 game. Now that AdMu has won a close game, it's the turn of UST's players to have some doubts if any.

If they meet in the finals, a Game 1 win by AdMU would assure a victory parade. But a Gm 1 loss will have a very interesting Gm 2 & 3. :D

Pero sana makapasok muna sila sa Finals. hehe
