just looking at this video,
his first attempt appeared considerably higher than the bar.
he could probably have done 5.6 m or better.
his two attempts afterward, were lackluster.

ang problema shut out ang gilas (men's and women's ) sa 3x3 competitions. very surprising development actually.

tapos ang men's and women's vball natalo kahapon.

it looks like the country is heading for a third place finish in the final medal count. not bad...not bad at all.

problema shut out ang volleyball teams natin sa podium finish. hindi gumana iyong training camp ng ladies sa brazil.

the tennis teams on the other hand were pretty successful. champion sa men's and bronze ata sa ladies.

btw, iyong filipinas (formerly the malditas) copped a bronze pendant and thus making history for going back home w/ a medal distinction for the 1st time ever. congrats to them and hopefully it'll serve as a big boost to their coming women's world cup tournament w/c will be happening a few months from now.

And Gilas just lost the gold medal game for the first time since 1989. That's gotta hurt, considering that this is where we are at pur very best, but not today.

^ Sa understanding ko minimal na ang nilalabas ng gov't para sa nat'l sports program. Every sports associations look for sponsors. Like sa women's vball ang malaking gastos ay rebisco kung di ako magkakamali. Sa men's naman uratex isa sa major donors nila. Former athletes kasi iyong mga nagpapatakbo kaya gracious pati sa vball program (& women's bball) ng ateneo.

Pero i think the biggest patron of pinoy sports right now is manny pangilinan by way of his mvp foundation. Iyan ang madami tinutulungan na mga sports associations.

nag-open ako ng facebook at bumungad sa akin talo pala pinas sa basketball. Matagal na ako hindi nanunuod basketball mapa pba or nba. Im more on nature & health na.

It only shows the Gilas program is a fluke, so is the coaching staff na puro Ateneo products lang, so bias! Shelve the program, get rid of Chot, and get fresh and upcoming stars. Tab Baldwin is good, but he recently lost in UAAP, which also means the Blue Eagles program is raw.
