Eto message sa CebPac if you attempt to book a flight to HK...
In light of the current situation related to the Novel Coronavirus, flights to Hong Kong will not be available until February 29, 2020. However, you may still book a flight if your travel dates are from March 1, 2020 onwards.

Diring diri ako sa mga nagtatapon ng bloody tissue sa trash. I don't understand why a toilet can flush poop but not tissue. Na miss ko conversations namin ng boss ko when we complain about toilet stuff, mga college grads and mostly CPAs sa office pero baboy sa toilet!!!
And don't get me started on people who don't wash their hands after they go to the bathroom
BTT: I'm glad they implemented the travel ban na. How long kaya ?

I disagree somehow. It's China's initiative of making their labor cheap and sourcing cheap materials (raw and finished or semi-finished) plus ease of doing business(less regulations means chepaer operating costs) at the expense of their people and the environment (China is the biggest polluter now).
Combine all these and you have a making of what Vietnam is becoming now, a manufacturers dream place. Sa west kasi mas mahigpit regulations especially about the environment and waste treatments/disposal kaya expensive kung dun ang manufacturing. As an example also, instead of recycling or processing wastes, developed countries export their waste (the Canada South Korea and Australia waste issue) to less developed countries like Africa and the Philippines. The Basel Convention was initiated because of this problem nga. They are somehow related kasi.
Imho lang naman. Although in support of your point, if the outrage for products manufactured from environment and humane violatig ways do get traction and the consumer in general care about how the product was manufactured, then this may have been prevented. Western government might have required the same level of regulations to be done by their incorporated companies even if manufacturing is in a foreign country. Problem with that is the cost of monitoring for the state kasi. But if gusto may paraan, if ayaw may dahilan nga naman.

di ko alam kung shut down mga export terminal ng China
i mean baka ung container van nasa port na isasakay nalang sa barko
pero pag wala din work ang port di makaalis ang container van

pag total shut down ang China... i'm not kidding magkakaroon ng shortage of goods dito sa Pinas
di bale mga non-essentials
we can survive without cellphone cases and selfie sticks

bawas panic
at the same time ma-boost ang image ng PH healthcare system
wala eh
the patient was 8 days in the hospital
