January 27th, 2020 02:28 PM #353We call them MDR's (multiple drug resistant).
Abused sobra kasi ang antibiotics.
Microbes are adapting faster tuloy than researchers can come up with new antibiotics. If antibiotic misuse isn't stopped, the time will come when people will succumb to normally treatable infections because nothing works na.
===
And antibiotics don't work on viral infections. Honestly, sa medical community, we're not really sure if viruses are actually alive. Generally, protein coat and dna/rna lang sila (note: oversimplification). They need to replicate inside living cells... ah, OT na

January 27th, 2020 02:35 PM #354Yan daw kasi corona or even the normal influenza virus, wala daw talaga drugs na nakakapatay dyan talaga, your natural body protection will stop it, or wash it off, coz even our anti bodies cant kill it.
So think of our anti bodies as spiderman inside your lungs, nerves, linings, whenever it sees a foreign invader flowing around, it zaps it so para sya na web thru the tissue walls or vein linings, so that it cant replicate or move around anymore.
If you are well hydrated, the defense mechanism of the body will have ample water supply to wash off those webbed foreign bugs / virus on the body circulatory system cycle.
This explains why some people become carriers or super carriers, cos even if hinde sila nagkasakit kagad while in wuhan , those coronavirus are trapped in fheir bodies, zapped and wrapped by our anti-bodies.
So how come some people are carriers, eh kasi excitement of travel can delay the process of sickness. Whenever we travel or experience good things, we tend to release cortisols or maybe adrenalin coz wala we are so happy, our body is running at full potential.
Sp what happens, when we go home after travel. Sadness, monotony, the feeling of monday na naman kicks in, but still those trapped viruses from travel are still within your system. If you dont hydrate well, those trapped viruses will get free and reinfect your lungs and therefore breathe sa new environment to pass it on to.
If say you are from Wuhan and you next country is of similar cold climate like US, Japan, Korea, europe, makaka flow ang virus
Pero if its tropical, magugulat din virus, kasi bat mainit.
Eh sa Pilipinas, di kang mainit, polluted pa. Patay sya
