after unfortunate mishaps prior to the main event and especially now that the weird opening ceremonies are over and done with - the business of going faster, higher, and stronger is on the way.

pinoy gymnastics munchkin wunderkind, carlos yulo, continues to make headway in his quest for olympic glory.

i understand he's on track to make the finals in 3 events as of this posting.

It seems di talaga effective si Curry sa Olympic basketball. Mas OK si Booker and Holiday. Suprised to see Booker stepped up on defense and plays his role very well.

this boxing match has been proving to be scandalous and polarizing in paris. it also sets a "walking on thin line " precedent.

i've read the algerian boxer has the xy chromosome and therefore testosterone ratio similar to a man brought about by a certain biological ***ual dysfunction but is still female. it's all very confusing and also unfortunate.

i remember we had a similar case in athletics before. but the individual i'm talking about is a hermaphrodite who was scarred after being questioned in the sea and asian games.

also, just recently there was an indonesian national volleyball player who was just as scandalous. even our very own volleyball federation was inquiring about the player's gender because the said person was practically maiming our true blue female athletes. it turns out after his/her stint w/ their indon national team, he opted to be a man instead - or something like that. he also had a biological disorder w/c was confounding everyone.

The IOC and Paris 2024 have sent out a statement condemning the discrimination on two boxers banned by the IBA last year. One of them is the Algerian boxer embroiled in the current controversy in Paris.

    • Two boxers competing in Paris 2024 were disqualified by the IBA in 2023 for supposedly "high testosterone levels" using an unspecified test. The decision was made by the then IBA Sec-Gen.
    • The IOC REMOVED recognition of the IBA as the international federation for olympic boxing that same year.

Note: Both these athletes are NOT TRANSGENDER athletes and were reportedly born female. They just happen to have high testosterone levels.

Its time that IOC adopt the IBA's testosterone level standard.

It's like using IPO, a slight advantage is still an unfair advantage. This is even truer when we talk about the highest level of competition where the difference between Gold and Silver are hair thin sometimes.

High testosterone gives a woman man-like power and strength and that is a scientific fact.
