1st AMP 9-Ball Challenge

When: Feb. 24, 2007 (Saturday)
Where: Ferrule Bar & Billiards
Time: 5:00 PM Onwards
*Registration starts at 4:30PM
Game Format: 9-Ball
Tournament Format: Double Eliminations


Tournament Reminders

Tournament format is Double Eliminations. A player's first loss relegates you to the losers bracket while the second loss eliminates you from the tournament.

All players will be requested to frequently view tournament brackets to monitor your respective standings and track coming matches.

Prior to starting & ending a match, participants will be required to approach the organizer's table to monitor on-going matches and match standings.

If a player is not present during their scheduled match, they will be given a grace period of 5 mins. Failure to comply within the grace period forfeits the match in favor of the waiting player.

Latecomers will automatically be moved to the loser's bracket.

At the start of a match, the player to break first will be determined by either a lag or a coin toss. Deciding what method method to use will have to be agreed upon by both players.

Though marshalls will be on hand to monitor the matches, all players must exercise due honesty to avoid disputes & promote camaraderie among all players.

Should any player require advice on game rules, oversee a particular shot or have any pertinent concern, they are encouraged to approach any of the designated marshalls.

Handicapping will only be given in favor of the ladies in the event that they are matched up with a male player. A 7,9 handicap will be given in situations named above. No handicap will be given for a guy/guy or girl/girl match-up.

Please take note of the game rules posted earlier. The "3 Consecutive Foul Rule" will be in effect.

Proper pool etiquette must always be observed. Players must avoid sharking while their opponents are attempting a shot.


Race to how many games will be determined on the day itself kasi relative ito sa dami ng sasali. Kung may questions kayo, post lang po kayo. ^_^
