    That would be nice. But, it would also cost a lot of moolah. I'm not sure if the Philippine government considers it worth the investment like many other Asian countries do.

    an advanced level of training and international exposure lang naman ang kulang sa mga pinoys eh. the government even doesn't have to spend on this if the individual can find a rich benefactor coming from the private sector. our national team has the skills to make it but sadly skills alone cannot make you a champion in the grand slam tournaments. why? because since a big chunk of tennis is mental, it's the psyche of competing in the international arena that should be developed. unfortunately this can only be done by traveling all over the world at such a young age and being exposed to the tremendous pressures of playing a solitary and competitive sport

    one more thing is that the philta (philippine tennis association)should get their act together. pinabayaan lang nila mga players natin through the years.
