i fill up my car usually very early in the morning before i go to work or very late at night before going home... i think on both occation eh hindi na maiinit ang panahon by that time, furthermore iyun trunk ko may insulation naka factory-installed kaya i don't think na ganoon kainit ang trunk ng car ko? i don't know?(haven't tried to lock myself inside the trunk... hehehe kidding) or maybe its just my guni guni... lumantad na kasi iyun ibang tao na nakapagpakabit whag mahiya... hehehe...

regarding sa performance wala naman significant difference eh kung mayroon man hindi ko napapansin... fuel consumption ko i really don't know dahil lately erratic ako magmaneho eh... sometimes kaskassero kasi dahil nagmamadali, sometimes eh relax ang pagmamaneho ko...

on my opinion hindi ka acutally nakatipid in terms on fuel consumption, nakatipid ka sa cost ng fuel... and nakakatulong ka pa by minimizing pollution that harms the environment and people...

for me yes, i would recommend everyone to install the device... it saves money, environment and the economy... you can see nga eh pati mga mayayaman naggpapakabit na rin ng autogas... i'm sure nararamdaman din nila ang sakit sa bulsa sa pag gamit nila ng mga malalaking makina, mamahalin na sasakyan at matatakaw sa gasolina na sasakyan nila...

What's the current going rate for LPG (per liter) at the stations? I've finally fixed registration on one of my older cars, and I'm going to give this a try.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yup pwede ilagay sa undercarriage ng van. Kaso dun na nagtatago ang 'Stow and Go' seats ng latest generation Chryslers kaya parang hindi pwede yung local tanks natin.

From what was told to me, LPG is safer than Regular gas. The LPG systems have a safety device that cuts off flow if there is any leak detected plus you can ask the refill station to check your trunk for leaks every time you fill up. saglit lang daw magcheck kung may leak, parang checking engine oil.

BTW, i was told that there will soon be several refilling stations to be set up in metro manila in the coming months. Tentatively daw early next year there will be more refilling stations set up in the metro.

Chuaed, why are you reprogramming your optra again?
i had my optra reprogrammed and i didn't seem to get any improvement in fuel economy. I was told by chevy pasig na maayos na daw yung fuel economy ko for my optra. i get around 8+ km/L in an A/T LS optra. almost full economy mode ako palagi.

i honestly don't know, kasi nun ginamit ko iyun petrol for comparison against gas parang tingin ko masmatakaw siya ngayon compared before... sometimes umaabot ako ng 8+ city driving pag kukupad-kupad ang pag mamaneho ko... madalas kasi nagmamadali ako panay hataw talaga as in...

hindi ko rin nga alam kung papayag sila magpa-reprogram pag nalaman nila naka autogas na tsikot ko...

same specs ang car natin optra 1.6LS automatic...
