As for Microfibers, I would recommend the Microtex - yung Red (forgot what they call this) its available at Bigberts or True Value.

No need to rinse your car first, dust your car first using CCD and a QD session will do.

ILD: thanks for the info abt CCD. Will try to get one when i have the budget for it. for the meantime, is it okay if i just spray QD and wipe it off with a red microtex MF a few sq. ft. at a time? Do i need another MF to dry or polish the surface after wiping off the QD?

Sorry ha, i really don't know anything about detailing... i'm used to the old t-shirt and bucket kind of washing.

Yup, work an area at a time. Just make sure the cars surface isn't too dusty. You can also try the Microtex Green its a bit thicker than the Red one at 50pesos more.

sa feb. 15 open na ba bigbert's? sa week end na yon pa detail tyo. bwisit nako sa zz ko ang dumi na talaga. tama ba pag gamit ko sealant di nako mgwax upto 6 months?

sige, mag papa clay and seal ako using my Klasse Twins :D. Full detail ka diba? Pa sched ka na lang 2 days before, convoy na lang tayo.

Di naman 6 months, mga 2-3 months.

magkano inabot syo pag gamit klasse mo? basa ko sa ibang forum lupit daw sa kinis yang klasse. yan yung gusto ko palagay sana. ano ba maintenance ko after klasse? bawal wax di ba?

very shiny ang Klasse SG talaga. as for maintenance afterwards, a proper wash regimen would take care of the sealant's durability. tapos CCD, QD with MF and you're good.

some prefer to top this with a carnauba for depth. its more evident on darker colors.
