pilgrim, i would suggest the dark gray. nung first time ko cya nakita, pangit kako kc the fortuner i was following was dirty. when my agent called me up to inform me that they have a unit available with that color, i was apprehensive. pero nung nakita ko cya sa casa, all that changed. ang ganda pala. now all my friends are saying na okay yung color, very unique.

October 6th, 2005 06:24 PM #984Fortuner 2.5G will definitely be slower than Innova 2.5G due to the added height & weight. But hey, Its traffic here, traffic there, traffic everywhere.
if the 2.5 diesel can haul a Hi-ace Grandia with a dozen people, Then the engine is capable enough for the Fortuner.
And I think Philippines in the only country to introduced a 2.5 Fortuner. (not sure about it)

October 6th, 2005 10:52 PM #988Has anyone tried installing an ipod in their fortuner without using an itrip? As in direct installation with a cable using the stock radio. Possible ba ito?

I guess the issue about the 2.5 d4d's power can only be answered by owners themselves. If you are really after the power and into 4x4, no doubt get the 3.0 d4d. But if you are the average driver that rarely floors the gas pedal and is after fuel economy 2.5 d4d is the variant to take.
