August 5th, 2005 12:21 AM #1845Hi, all. Like many of the newbies here, i just finished reading all 185 pages of this thread (so ngayon feeling ko pwede na mg-post, hehe). I've enjoyed going through it. I'm not a gearhead, and have only a basic knowledge of cars, so very interesting yung usapan niyo.
I have a 2005 blue 250x, around 2 weeks old/ 600+km palang. Stock siya, no mods. Came FL (the dealer said "fully loaded", whatever that means). The hyper roof rails are there, along with the JVC HU (glad about that, kasi may aux in nga siya). 6 speaker system daw, but I cant hear the tweeters in front. Akala ko nga nung una di nakabit, until I read a previous post saying sobrang hina daw nun. Not sa happy about that.
But overall, sobrang happy ako with the ride. 1st new car I bought (previous car was a 2nd hand 1994 accord, which I liked, but there was no getting aroung the fact it was 11 years old...)
To answer your question, JosiahMarv, it cost 1.35M. nagbigay naman sila ng P50k cash coupon na pwede daw gamitin for anything at Nissan Commonwealth.
Looking forward to learning more about the Xty from you guys!

August 5th, 2005 12:52 AM #1847I'd like that, hopefully I can do that in the future.
Btw, I have some questions (can't recall if the answers are available from previous posts): Exactly what's the K&N filter? Is it advisable to get one? How much and where can I find it?
Also, I try to drive non-aggressively, but I'm only getting 6.7 km/L so far (although I know compared to some here ok na din yun, hehe). I'd like to get better mileage. How high can I jack up the tire pressure on the xtrail? Nakasulat 29 daw recommended pressure, but I read somewhere it should be at least 2 more than recommended to get benefits?
Brito, sorry to hear about your situation. Kakatakot, I chose the xtrail para nga sa ulan at baha, bakit naman ganun nangyari?

caloymd:
- I've inquired about the K & N filter, it will set you back 4.5K for the drop in.
- My tire pressure is at 35psi. Yes might be too high but i feel it gives me a little bit more mileage.
- Medyo malas nga nangyari kay brito at kmo, but thats an electrical issue, might be a faulty wire or something more serious. As long as you don't forge over knee deep waters you should be ok.

August 5th, 2005 01:18 AM #1850Wow, 4.5k is pretty steep for me (still getting over the cost of buying the car, hehe). I'll try jacking up the tire pressure. Thanks!
Btw, at 35psi is there a big difference in ride comfort? Thanks again!
