Having attended Catholic schools it bothered me how accurate and detail rich the masses were. I can already hear our rector screaming sacrilege! But I did like some of the sermons actually. [emoji28]

Yup same here! Grew up studies also in a catholic school, & family was also very religious & actively serving also in church. Was also also a sacristan before, but like the lead character, you get to question the existence of God & religion after an event in your life.

Btt: Just finished watching Squid Game. It was just ok for me. Kinda distracted with the pa acting of some characters. Like that have this generic look when they get surprised.

Done with Midnight Mass also. If you are fond of watching trailers hindi mo talaga expected na ganun pala ang plot. Clueless talaga ako. I like how it was packed, complete talaga.

Is it horror (like ghosts /demons mala exorcist or poltergeist?) I am not allowed to watch horror kasi, all the more films that are against the Catholic church. I remember when those books by Dan Brown came out my Lola told me not to read those books. Masunurin ako I come from a convent school din :P

I was never told not to watch p0rn because they think I never would LOL! But seriously, I'm a scaredy cat kasi. I can't even sleep in complete darkness. My Mom said that watching horror films attracts bad spirits (or negative energy) so we can't watch at home - and I believe her. Natr trauma na kasi ako when I watched the Ring on cinema not knowing what it was about, I slept with the lights on, door wide open and tv covered with cloth for several days.
