Ok lang yan. But that's semi-synthetic di ba?

Pero para sa akin mas magbebenefit ang r18 (or k20) engine mo at ikaw na din kung mag fully synthetic ka na. Mas protektado at mas magiging efficient takbo ng engine mo

check also the bulb socket or connectors. baka marumi lang, or bent out of shape.

of course, blown fuse is the next guess.

check your fusebox or fuse diagram, po.
see what other appliance shares fuse with the dome light, and see if that appliance works.

    errr... hindi LED, ha?
    kung LED, reverse the polarity.

Thanks for the inputs, Doc! Based on the fuse diagram, all small interior lights should be assigned to a single fuse in the internal fusebox, and one in the under-bonnet fusebox. This might mean the fuse isn't the culprit, since my map lights are working. Might as well check tho.

If not, is replacing the whole dome light assembly normal?

if there is nothing wrong with the dome light assembly, replacing it would not result in the solvation of your problem.
the dome light switch may be the problem. but i do not know if you are capable of testing its integrity.

check if the wires leading to the dome light, are delivering electricity.
pull out the dome light assembly. that should expose the connecting wires. using a tester, check if they are delivering the electricity. if they do not... then you'll have to dig deeper into your car's wiring. that means, knowing the color coding of your wires in question, tracing them .... trabaho!

    good luck.

Thanks again, Doc. Seems like a bit more of a problem than I expected. At least, it is not a major one!

kuha ka ordinary bulb that you know, works, because you saw it glow.
install it and see if it lights.
