    i vaguely remember, that someone countered, "not likely. worm meat is more expensive than mammalian meat".

    i think the "100% pure beef" was devised, with the Muslim folk in mind.

    in those early years, hindi pa uso ang halal, hangal or hamal sa packaging.
    "no pork" was enough.

    Off topic (but related to burgers) I wonder bakit kaunti na lang yung Minute Burger today unlike before...bago pa sumikat si Angels Burger. In fact, mas ok pa ang burger ng minute burger. Ang binibili ko lang sa Angels ay yung footlong hotdog.
