    Good day friends.

So I already sold my 2015 Altis including all SQ equipment installed. I will be getting a Wildtrak and contemplating on the equipment to be installed. I still like how the AP RAM sounds. Jonz suggested the RAM 1.6. Coming from the RAM 2.6 I think this is a good pick as it would also fit well with the Wildtrak's tweeter stock location. Any other alternatives that are comparable or better than the APs for the seps which costs around 20k to 40k? I listen mostly to jazz, pop and a bit of R&Bs.

Would also like to hear for any suggestions on DSPs for integration. Hard to replace the Wildtrak's HU due to sync3 issues and connectivity with the truck's other systems. I have seen the HELIX P6 dsp + amplifier which costs 60k+. Thinking probably getting a 4ch amp + stand alone dsp but would appreciate other inputs.

I can go sub less. But Jonz mentioned the Ryan Audio underseat subs. Meron ba sa atin may naka gamit or nakarining na nito?

    Thank you guys

It may be your Amp overheating, or maybe meron clip protect. Kung new yung forester, highly unlikely under voltage or over voltage.

^ what's causing the amp to overheat? Could this happen to active underseat subs as well?

Maxado ka malakas magpa tugtog sir,, kapag lampas na sa capacity ng amp ang volume mo, mag auto protect sya, cut off the amp to protect from damage

It can happen when your gain is set too high on the powered sub and volume on the hu

Set your gain on your amp and hu the right way for it not to clip. If you have a sub, use 40hz test tone to set your gain properly and Use 1khz for your component speakers
Adjust it seperately and with your bass boost off, subsonic filter off, your eq flat. There are a lot of youtube videos on this and you can download those test tone for free.

And remember: amplifier gain knob is not a volume knob.

There also test tones in Spotify. I am also interested in the Ryan Audio underseat subs but wonder how does it perform vs the JBL BassPro SL.

Regarding the JBL BassPro, I have inquired in one JBL store and available naman sa kanila kaso wala daw harness. Ano yun? Paano gagana yung underseat subs pag ganun? Lol.
