Have a look at his work & what he uses. It's worth it.[emoji108]

For those who have driven their 2017 Mazda3 at SLEX/TPLEX (or even at C5/EDSA), how's the sound deadening quality? I used to drive a 1st gen Mazda3 and I can hear the wind noise inside the cabin when driving around 100kph at the expressway. Road noise while driving around the city can be an annoyance especially when you're surrounded by motorcycles. Compared to other cars like the Honda Accord and even the small Ford Fiesta, Mazda seems to be lagging behind when it comes to making the road noise a little less of a nuisance.

Mazda opted for lightening over deadening.

Did some quick research to see how much effort is needed for a custom sound deadening. Saw this forum post and told myself "not worth it"

Afaik, for the 2017 facelift, they improved the NVH compared to the 2014-2016.

Hahaha...yeah. We can't have em all. Among my retirees from daily duty were a tank & a gokart, so I'm kinda numb to the comforts of plush & deadening. I welcome every bit of audible, visual & felt feedback the road & the 3 can give me.[emoji4]

Agreed. At first you really notice it but then you just get used to it (atleast for me). But like I said they improved it in the facelifted Mz3.
