August 16th, 2017 03:35 PM #201^ magbook sila. Tsaka nila huhulihin
Yung wunder ang talagang car pooling. Twice a day ka lang pwede magsakay. To and from your work. So di pwede gawin business ng mga tao

Hindi lang naman sa Pilipinas may full-time Uber. Many other Uber drivers in other countries have quit their full time jobs to drive an Uber.
And when it comes to outsourcing, because labor is cheap in the country, this is the most efficient way to multiply your income - kung mag-isa ka lang tapos isa lang kotse mo, your earning potential is very limited.
If you loan lots of cars, design an earnings structure wherein each car can pay for itself, its driver, and earn you a decent return on top of that, then you increase your income several times over.
Let's not pretend that Uber isn't a capitalistic venture. People don't sign up for Uber just because they want to wear down their cars or alleviate traffic, they sign up because they want to earn. And it's natural that you'd want to earn more because that's the point of business.
And Uber allowed that to happen - they didn't put any safeguards barring fleet operators simply because that's also the most efficient way for them to expand their services. If they wanted to stay as a ride-sharing app, they could easily adjust their rules but they didn't.

August 16th, 2017 05:03 PM #204They could sell it to JICA, DOT, and DPWH and we'll immediately know where to route the subway and new LRT / MRT lines, which roads to widen, which to convert to one-way etc. They're literally sitting on the solution to the nation's congestion problem.
Anyways, tried Grab today, I dunno, it's just a regular taxi that you hail. The App itself felt a little clumsy. Maybe its because when I first rode Uber it was credit-card carrying middle class and upper class genteel folk only. Whatever. Uber may be run by assholes (even the local one), but their service was the best.

First, nagkaroon ng fleet dito kasi nga enterprising My Pinoy. Let's face it. Now, paano naging problema ng uber/Grab yan?
Yan ang Exactly aayusin ng batas, how many cars can one registered in uber/Grab to be considered as fleet.
Ako paniwala ko they're still not violating any local laws here, Eh wala ngang batas for them eh.
They're not taxis kaya bakit magiging pareho sila ng regulations ng mga taxis.
They're not public vehicle per se, bakit sila Under ng LTFRB?
Until wala pang nagagawang laws specific for them, they are not obliged to follow regulation For PUVs.

App and running na ba iyang service ng newcomers (pun intended 😀)?
Si bong suntay din pala ang spearhead nitong micab sa manila. Like everyone else, I'm hoping he can regulate his posse to ensure a safe and cleanly comfortable ride
Btw, stroke of genius ang move na ginawa ng uber ah. They sent a white man to ltfrb to beg for forgiveness and placate lizada and co. Nag soften tuloy ng konti ang stance ng restaurateur from davao Hehe
