Old man makes a bet with young man. If the boy can light his lighter 10 consecutive times, he wins the old man's car. If he fails, the old man will chop off his finger.
Great short story by Roald Dahl with a surprise ending.

February 19th, 2017 08:29 PM #534Watching the series Air Crash Investigation by NatGeo. Or Mayday Air Disaster by Discovery. 5 out 16 seasons down. It's amazing how a simple mistake can cause disaster resulting to hundreds of deaths.
One of my favorite is when a maintenance crew cleaning a cockpit forgot to turn back on the switch for air pressure. The plane flew, pilots and passengers fell asleep. Plane flew in a straight path until it run out of fuel and crash.

April 16th, 2017 01:49 AM #536Started watching the new voltron series created by DreamWorks. It's better than the 1984 series in terms of graphics and story line. Hindi na tulad noon na at the end of every episode the villain will release a robo-beast, then the lions will form voltron and use the blazing sword to kill the enemy.
