December 16th, 2016 02:46 PM #53My father-in-law bought the base model.
Advertised price is 998,000 but he was given a 100K discount.
Diesel engine, SUV appearance, can seat 7 persons and high ground clearance for P900,000 is a good deal, I think.
But I haven't checked on what other safety features it has aside from ABS and 2 front airbags.
Definitely can bring you from pointA to pointB....but it's not yet for car enthusiasts because of the brand, IMO.
I hope it will age well and prove its reliability.
By the way, I would appreciate if someone could post a link about the current and actual specifications of Toplander.
Thanks!

Thank you for responding guys... well after inquiring about the toplander... the SA here at CDO said it will take a few months to order the base model and more likely with an increased price by March of 2017. I ended up going to Nissan and booked a Nissan Navarra Calibre instead. I will be probably taking it home by Monday. 👍

February 27th, 2017 04:43 PM #58Toplander owners here in the Metro.... Where do you bring your Toplander for PMS? Last 1000KM and 5000KM dinala ko yung akin sa A. Bonifacio casa, kaso I am starting to lose credibility in them, I am planning to bring it to other casa's here in Manila (Q. Ave, Pasong Tamo, etc.). I want to hear your feedback kung reputable yung mga mechanics sa pinag dadalahan nyo, they know what they are doing and most important they can give answers to your question, hindi yung sasagutin ka ng "Ganun po talaga yun sir, baka may mali sa pag gamit nyo".... Medyo nakaka pikon kasi pag ganun yung isasagot sa inyo eh.

March 7th, 2017 03:58 PM #60Mabigat i-drive in the long run kasi Manual? I think its self preference... I used to drive an MT car, then AT then back to MT. For me, ease of driving (kung mabigat o magaan) should be gauged through the steering and not the tranny, kasi you are not always on the tranny naman when you drive eh, unless its traffic, you usually touch the tranny (when shifting gear) in less than two seconds. Kaya for me, MT or AT, it really doesn't matter, I'd go with manual as I want my hands busy (but then again, its personal preference).
