The 4spd auto uses toyota-ws? Interesting.

Toyota-ws has lower viscosity than toyota type4. I thought it was for their 5&6sp trannies only.

2009 Altis ko ATF nya rin ba lifetime, or as per sir Vinj much better papalitan siguro, 74k na milages, when is the right time to change ?

*mishap13. I did not request check up. Since mine is a 2008, we have the same generation of altis so i presume it applies to yours too. However, i still have doubts so i plan to seek a 2nd opinion from another casa since manual states otherwise. Typically, atf should be changed at 80k km.

To all altis owners, yun bang temp gauge nyo lumalampas ng konti sa half then parang bumabalik ulit sya under normal driving condition?

No, mine never goes past the halfway mark, even under hard driving. 10th gen 1.6G MT.

yung sa akin stays a little beyond the half (kapiranggot lang), but stays there na. hindi nagbabago.

Saw the 2017 Altsi 2.0 v last december and I was disappointed that Toyota didn't equipped it with a passive entry/ keyless entry( just holding the door handle) for 1.333m vehicle but I'm glad toyota fitted it with an infotainment system and 7 airbag across all variants

It has passive entry. Hindi lang kita yung sensor (which is nice). Even our old 2009 Altis 2.0V had passive entry already.

BTW wrong thread, this is the 10th gen (2008-2013) thread. 😉
