Eto ang sa akin since I love calculating and recording my consumption every fill up and zero-ing the trip meter. Driving consists of 75% freeway on rush hour- stop and go to light traffic- and 25% city. At least 2-3 X "hataw" in a tank of gas- mostly stoplight to stoplight. I accelerate slowly most of the time and coast the car a lot to slowdwon or before stopping and I think it matters as you can see:

    Starting from the smallest engine:

    Mazda Miata 1.6L 5-spd manual 13.3 km/ltr
    Toyota Minivan (HiAce) 2.0L 4-spd auto 10.2 km/ltr
    Ford Escape 2.0L 5-spd manual 11.5 km/ltr
    Mazda Tribute 2.3L 4-spd auto 10.5 km/ltr
    Lexus RX300 3.0L V6 4-spd auto 8.3 km/ltr
    Lexus GS400 4.0L V8 5-spd auto/tiptronic 9.5 km/ltr

actually, apart from the traffic conditions, driving style and condition of the vehicle on the whole can play a major role in fuel consumption regardless of the displacement.unfortunately, bigger displacement consumes more gas in stop and go traffic, moreover, being stuck in traffic. yes, tire pressure, wheel alignment also have its toll on fuel consumption matter.

i drive daily using a 3.0 L Diesel Isuzu DMax, and consumes 12 km/L. 45% of my drive composed of city driving, 55% highway driving during rush hour. as for my other ride, a 1.5L Civic 96, my consumption is 10.5 km/L- can go further than that since, it was driven hard and faster than average. my daily mileage is pegged at about 70 km / day.

honda accord 95 at - 8.9 km/l based on last computation, this is after i changed my driving habits and the air filter, i used to get only around 6.5-7.7 km/l

i just replaced the plugs to the ones specified in the manual, so i'm hoping for further improvements...
