I like the Honda Pilot and Accord(drove one). The Toyota Forts/Innova. Hyunda's 1.6T Tucson.
Im not into brands. Its about researching which car is best in their respective segments. 2016 faves.
Elantra/Civics
Pilot/Durangos
Accords/Malibus
cx5/tucsons
Hilux/rangers
M.sports/Everest/Mux/Forts
Buying a segment leader(relative to local markets) always gives a feeling of satisfaction. Maintenance should be worry free during warranty.

Recently acquired a used 2011 elantra 1.6 manual. Battery was replaced a year ago according to the Original owner (panasonic) mabilis naman ang redondo but sometimes hindi tumutuloy pag start ng engine. I have to crank it again bago mag start ano po kaya problema at hindi siya one click? This happens in any weather condition or time of day lalo na pag nagamit ko na siya

May 9th, 2016 08:18 AM #3109I experience this intermittently in my elantra since we bought it brand new in 2011.
Had it checked several times sa casa pero walang makitang diperensya. Have learned to live with it since hindi naman malaking hassle. After mag-expire na ang warranty baka makita na din sa wakas ang issue [emoji13][emoji13]
1.8 AT yung sa akin.

May 9th, 2016 09:47 PM #3110Hello guys.
I have a 2012 1.6 Elantra which few days ago has a rubbing clanking sound in the steering wheel.
Since I bought it 2nd hand with the 1st owner not giving me the service passbook, there is no warranty.
I have it checked by the Casa and they said they will have to replace the whole steering wheel set which is 96K plus labor.
The service advisor said this is a common Elantra and Accent problem.
Are there cheaper alternatives out there? Aftermarket parts?
Thank you for the help.
