Wow so any electronic or mechanical issue is ruled out.
Brilliant.

Yan nga ang head-scratcher, bakit specific lang sa MS, pero wala sa ka twin model nya.
Unlike sa kaso ng Toyota SUA, yung defect ay across sa ibang model and reported cases not only in the US but also in Europe and China.
It even involve, Toyotas Lexus sister company. Yan klaro part o sensor design defect yan.
Sa MS, isolated lang sa Pinas at sa specific model lang.
As mentioned by TGP, may common denominator yan, yung mga oldies na driver, walang insurance, out of warranty at facing multiple damage expenses.

That statement is too presumptuous bro.
Have you worked before with automotive grade sensors? Do you have a fair understanding on how they have been qualified and how the production quality is monitored, specially since this piece of electronic component is mission-critical?

Your statement is flawed.. calculation of the ECU is solely based on the rotational speed of the wheels, ie, sensed by abs sensors, 4 of them, thus called 4-channel ABS. The amount of brake force is not ECU dependent but hydraulics dependent. In a vehicle not equipped with ABS, the brake locks the wheels if you stomp on the brake hard and sudden. ABS mitigates the locking of the wheels by summoning the ABS hydraulic circuitry to give pulsating force to individual brakes, depending on the rotational speed of the wheel, hence the "tak" "tak" sound you hear when ABS activates, thus no wheel locking.
Now, to contest your claim na hindi mag aaply fully ang brake pag full throttle ka, try this experiment... try driving on a wet road, say 60kph, then shift to neutral..so car is coasting,.. stomp on the accelerator hard to WOT...then brake hard...ABS activates.

Not really bro.
But these types of failures should have been relatively more straightforward with these components. And the supplier would have been pressured (President/CEO level) to rectify the issue immediately, as it is the practice than when such is identified and it could be fatal, the plant is shut down. There will be fireworks all over...
As expected, in response to Tesla’s entry into the Philippines market, Ford will be bringing in the...
