November 19th, 2015 08:58 AM #2311Ang hindi maganda sa isuzu, they always tell the buyers... Pinaka bago po engine. 2015 model. Sa totoo pala, bawal na eto this coming January. Why do we have to defend them. Ang baho na nga ng taktiks.
Kulang sa business ethics. Contributing to Manila's pollution. Kahit yung newly introduced na 4jj1-tcx. That is an over 5 yr old engine sa labas. 4jj1-tcx was introduced in late 2006. Bakit ngayon ka lang? After almost a decade. For phase out na ata sa labas. Wake up... It's like smelling the garbage, the salesman told you it smells good and you said yes.

November 19th, 2015 09:29 AM #2312I am not defending Isuzu Philippines. I just find the extent of your ranting completely unnecessary. Plus you are merely stressing yourself and the other forum members out with your negativity. Why complain about how Isuzu Philippines makes us think that they are providing us with the newest technology? Only a fool would fall for the the salesman's claims that it is the newest and latest. Smart buyers know better than that, and if you do not like what a certain brand offers, simply buy your car elsewhere. Or like I said before, go buy gray market. If you can really complain that much, I would assume that you have the resources to buy the exact variant that you want. Most of us here are fine with what Isuzu is offering in our country, and we know for a fact that we are content with older technology because it may suit our needs even better than the latest tech (Ex: Better availability of parts, easier/less complicated repairs, more familiarity, generally proven and more reliable, etc). The way you always want the latest and greatest really gives off that vibe that you have a great sense of entitlement. I am sure you are better than that.
Once again, I cannot see enough evidence to believe your claims that the 4JJ1 is a smoke belcher / strong pollutant. That engine is still newer than Mitsubishi's ancient and ever-belching 4D56, even if the latter received more recent modification. So why not rant to Mitsubishi as well? Plus in case you have not read the article posted a few weeks ago, the new 1.9 Ddi is not their top of the line engine in Thailand. It still is the 3.0 4JJ1 TCX.
Once again, we are smarter than the salesmen, and we (most of us, at least) freely decided knowing fully what we would get. Do not make unintelligent remarks by assuming and saying we are falling for the dealers' tricks, for we really are not.
