i have an avh-x1750dvd on my fd and i'm immensely enjoying it.

even though technically i needed that thingamajig to mate the steering wheels controls to the hu, the tech at the shop wherei bought it from and had the unit installed just weaved his magic to make the control pads at my steering wheel work

You can use the touchscreen to browse songs, no problem. You can also use the NEXT and BACK buttons on the left side panel. Lastly, you can use the Pioneer remote control included with the unit.

I have not found the time to setup the wheel audio control yet. But there is instructions included in the owner's manual on how to do this.

Sorry, no idea about other Winterpine products. I'd just been there two times eh. I suggest you give them a quick call.
Thanks for the info. Do they have sample head units that you can try at the shop? I wanna test it first before jumping the gun.

Of course, DLS is better than stock speakers. If you want to listen at high volume level, you can install amplifier. In my case, I do not need one. Wala pa sa middle ang volume level ng Pioneer HU, galit na si misis.. hinaan ko daw.

    Pioneer AVH-275BT
    RMS power: 22W x 4ch * 4ohms
    Max power: 50W x 4ch * 4ohms

ok ang DLS, maganda tumunog, ipa-deadening mo rin front doors mo para mas buo yung tunog. no need for amp kung di naman malakas na volume ang habol mo.
