October 19th, 2015 10:20 AM #2Anong kotse / ride nyo sir? In most conventional and mechanically linked shifters do tend to emit vibrations as they're almost completly linked to the engine. But with most cable linked shifters nowadays, wala o halos wala na yung vibrations. Things you might want to check: 1. Engine supports, 2. Transmission supports, 3. Engine condition, timing, idling, etc.

If it wiggles left and right or naiaangat mo ng konti, pwede mo muna ipa check shift stick bushings sa ilalim nyan.
Around 60 to 80 pesos a piece yun usually you will need 4 or more depende sa make and model ng ride mo.

I just remembered when I used to drive our then company van, a Diesel Toyota Revo, the stick shift would bang your knee every time you start the car. You have to remember to keep some distance between your knee and the shifter prior to starting the engine or you'll limp for a day.

It looks like a washer na makunat na rubber.
