There's very little soundproofing. The noise-proofing is all in the cabin seals around the doors and glass. Neither the wheel wells or transmission tunnel are padded (when we did the video, you could hear the gravel pattering off the transmission tunnel).

But as long as nothing is hitting the body (rain, gravel, etcetera), it's relatively quiet.

The new Mz2 is 20kg lighter than the previous one. They had to strip that from somewhere (insulators, thinner gauge sbut just as strong steels).

Increased noise is such a trivial side effect of the lightened & stiffened Sky body.
If anyone is thinking dynamat to improve the M2 acoustics, I hope 2nd thoughts & wisdom would prevail against doing such an injustice. Haha... Leave the M2 alone & spend that budget on a decent home audio system instead.

Says a lot about how far the Rota name has come. Much like Mazda, they're playing with the big boys now & getting so much attention the world over.....Proud to be Pinoy.

You can buy the rims only then get eco tires. Potenza RE002 is expensive because it is a performance tire.

I'd skip the set up altogether. I've long murdered the audiophile in me. All of mine are left raw for the drive now. The lighter, the better, Yattasan. Just me....music can take the backseat or is left in that room in the house.
