There's very little soundproofing. The noise-proofing is all in the cabin seals around the doors and glass. Neither the wheel wells or transmission tunnel are padded (when we did the video, you could hear the gravel pattering off the transmission tunnel).
But as long as nothing is hitting the body (rain, gravel, etcetera), it's relatively quiet.

October 20th, 2015 06:29 PM #792The new Mz2 is 20kg lighter than the previous one. They had to strip that from somewhere (insulators, thinner gauge sbut just as strong steels).

Increased noise is such a trivial side effect of the lightened & stiffened Sky body.
If anyone is thinking dynamat to improve the M2 acoustics, I hope 2nd thoughts & wisdom would prevail against doing such an injustice. Haha... Leave the M2 alone & spend that budget on a decent home audio system instead.
