Good day po mga sirs. i still have my 2004/05 dmax (first gen) 4x2. nasa 130,000km lang po mileage (brand ko po siya na kuha kaya ako po ang owner pa rin. ayaw ipabenta ng misis ko siya na daw gagamit hehee. had it also re-freshed for the last weeks (new pads, resurfaced brake rotors, engine oil, filter, fuel filter, new enginer gaskets, new brake fluids, steering fluids, new cooling connectors, new evaporator for the aircon, etc (after several years na di ko pina check!) now since di niya papabenta, i might as well make her drive look better.

Can you guys refer me kung saan makakabili ng quick lift (shackle and spacers) para po sa model na ito?
Or is the quick lift for the 2nd generation dmax same? plan to install a tire that is bigger but same wide lang po. thanks in advance for the help.

I'm based in cebu by the way so if meron po sa banaue, ipapa ship ko na lang po. thanks.

Least powerful.. well yun lang ba ang basehan sa pag pili ng pickup? How about reliability.. Of all pickup until this day only the D-MAX has a B10 500,000kms rating. So NO.. hindi "Feeling lang" lang reliability ng D-Max engine.. Yung ibang pickup nga dyaan 3 months pa lang sira ang Turbo at ayaw nang tumakbo.. so stranded ka nanaman. It may have lower HP.. but let me tell you this.. other pickup only became powerful because they put a BIG turbo on the engine.. kaya nag mukang malakas.. but mind this.. will it last long? May nabasa ako dito sa na ibang pickup 3 times na pinalitan ang Turbo in a span of 6 months.. ARUY.. Even China made cars would last longer than that.

Noisy ang D-Max?? Well it's because Timing Chain ang gamit.. pang lifetime na yun sa engine at hindi na kelangan palit-palitan.. Yung ibang pickup dyaan timing belt lang.. Eh yung ibang pickup paanon kung maputol yang Timing belt.. eh di stranded ka nanaman.

Well. Only the D-Max's body shape has been tested and adjusted to the Wind Tunnel in Japan where bullet trains (the fastest trains in the world) are tested. Kaya hindi sya HUGIS KAHON gaya ng ibang pickup and yet, mas roomy pa rin sya kaysa ibang nag labasang pickup this 2015..
Remember 2012 nilabas ang current D-Max so yeah hindi kasing dami ang borloloy.. but what matters most para sa pickup.. the D-Max delivers... yeah specially sa toughnest and reliability.. it is still competitive until this day.. go figure..

Uncomfortable.. read every professional D-Max review about its comfort. you wouldn't see a single one said it's uncomfortable.. the only thing they said is the interior is comfortable.. so you're overreacting there and what you said is irrelevant... also tried other pickup ang sikip sa loob.. kahit 2015 model.. mas maluwag pa rin ang D-Max.

The D-Max uses ladder frame chassis.. mas stable sya sa ibang pickup.. at hindi basta basta tumataob.. it can still go on a 50 degree obstacle. Pag ibang pickup yan taob na yun. Yung iba nga kahit sa flat surface tumataob.. yung iba pa muntik ng malaglag sa Skyway. Hindi kasi stable.. feeling lang..

Built quality ng D-Max in better and they paid attention to details para hindi karagin..

It is supported by Facts..

This is not true... meron akong nakasabay na dmax 3.0 engine kahapon paakyat ng Baguio. He's quick and powerful, naiwan namin ang mga forts/monts/hilux/navarras.

Well if you floor your gas pedal, and used the right gear. Let your engine scream. Dmax is more agricultural in form. The only advantage is having full leather seats while most Japanese pickups use linen nowadays. Noticed a lot of 2014 low mileage dmax posted in olx? The market speaks for itself whether we like it or not.

Not everybody wanted to race in an uphill road. Having the extra juice in climbing is a must. It makes driving more confident and relaxing.
