i thought inflating psi is measured with a cold tire...
"Inflate your front tires to 36 psi in the morning" >> This is the cold tire air pressure.

"and then after you use the vehicle, measure the tire air pressure again." >> This is the hot tire air pressure.

The purpose here is to know the maximum air pressure inside the tire during normal use.. since according to radz15, tire sidewall indicated 44 psi as maximum for his tires.

isn't the 44 psi max tire sidewall, also measured as cold inflating pressure?

Tire pressure is like inflation, it lessen in value as time pass by

I see variation in tire pressure at around 2 psi (going up) thru my tpms when you use it in hot weather.

Thanks sir! Kinakabahan kasi ako para bukas. Puno kasi sakay ko bukas. Nakalagay 38 front & rear. Since 44 psi yung max onti nalang difference

Nelany, thats a fleeting moment, it will never last long..pressure will go up as temperature surge

Bottomline is tires deflate as a function of time from the moment you inflate it up to the time you reflate it

Since 2 psi lang ang increase ng pressure so me idea na kung anong max pressure sa highway. Better install a TPMS if you want to monitor yung tire pressure mo.

TPMS is not practical for every car owners

The point you raise about a slight increase in pressure on a warm temperature or as the tire roll and get warm is a good point to remember

To prevent bursting the tire while on the run, a user should provide allowance if one intends to pump air at a maximum level. For example if the max tire pressure is 44 then 42 is about right not to over inflate the tire to provide allowance due to increase in temp

U mean sir ok lang yung 38 pag max is 44? May nababasa kasi ako na sometimes pag masyado mabilis takbo nasa 5 to 10 psi yung nadadagdag.

Yup TPMS is not practical for all, but if the owner is keen on the tire pressure he may install one. Meron owner na metikuloso sa ganyan so installing one will be the answer.
